Banana Plop!

When Robert was 6 years old his family took a vacation and drove from Utah to Pennsylvania and back. They were gone for 6 weeks. During that time, many nicknames were created, and some people received more than one. The story of one of Robert's nicknames goes like this. He was riding along in the family van and peeled open a banana for a snack. Shauna, his older sister, decided to try and take a bit out of his banana. Attempting to keep her from biting the banana, Robert hoisted the banana into the air, away from Shauna. When he did so, the banana hit the van ceiling and peeled portion broke off and feel on the floor. Robert didn't realize what had happened until he brought the banana back down and saw half of it missing. With a puzzled look on his face, and still wondering what had happened to the bulk of his banana, he rightfully earned the nickname "Banana Plop."

Well Carson started hoisting his banana into the air for some reason unknown reason the other day, thinking it was pretty funny. So it would seem banana hoisting runs in the family. We have a Banana Plop Jr. in the making!
