4th of July

For the 4th of July we took the opportunity to go to 7 Peaks in the morning, and then to the Provo Freedom craft fair.

Before we went to the fireworks which follow the Stadium of Fire, we took the time to do some sparklers we have had since Carson was one, he didn't like them the past two years. This year was a much different story, we couldn't get them lit quick enough.
I just couldn't resist all the funny faces he gave through the whole event. Enjoy! :)
1st Sparkler, he wasn't so sure, lol
Let freedom ring.
Even Sydni didn't mind the sparklers.
I just love this picture of Carson.
 Yes?
After the first firework went off, afterwards he was just fine.
This isn't a great picture, but Sydni didn't appreciate the fireworks this year again.
She tried for all her worth to climb up over my shoulder, poor baby.
It was fun capturing the fireworks with our new camera, they didn't come out blurry like they have in the past, sweet!
Taken from Robert's Facebook account: Carson is a serious ladies' man! We went to watch the fireworks in Provo yesterday and while walking both to and from the spot where we sat, Carson buddied up to two separate, random girls, both in their 20's, that happened to be walking beside us. He talked to each the entire way, and if he fell behind their pace he'd run right back up to their side and continue chatting. Then to top the night off, there were five girls laying on blankets a good 20 feet behind us watching the show. He had no interaction with them whatsoever before or during the show, but apparently it had been on his mind because immediately after the show ended he waltzed over and started talking to all of them while we were cleaning up to leave. They all flirted right back and had a nice visit apparently. I couldn't help but ask if I could take a picture. Keep up the good work Carson!
Happy 4th of July 2014!
