Provo Tabernacle Temple

For part of our 4th of July activities we decided to go to the Provo craft show and while we were there we decided to take a peak at the construction of the Provo Tabernacle Temple. It is very neat to be able to live in near the first city that will have two LDS temples within a 5k distance of each other.(Looking forward two it)  In fact I will be doing a 5K with the kids on the 24th that starts at the Provo temple and ends at the new Tabernacle temple. I know and have a testimony that through temples we can receive many blessings as we attend faithfully.

If you are not familiar with why we the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints build temples please feel free to take a look at http://mormon.org/beliefs/church#our_members it is a great piece of information as to why we believe the way we do about temples and why they are so sacred and precious to us as members of the church.  I know the temple has blessed me immensely throughout my life and will continue to do so as I live faithfully.

Our prophet Thomas S. Monson said about temples, " First may I mention that no Church-built facility is more important than a temple. Temples are places where relationships are sealed together to last through the eternities. We are grateful for all the many temples across the world and for the blessing they are in the lives of our members."
Temple open house is scheduled to be sometime in 2015, where the general public can visit the temple before it is dedicated. Looking forward to it being finished, as I have a feeling this will be the temple we will be assigned to for our Stake.
